Warranty Policy

Last updated: September 2026

At Hello Deals, we want you to shop with confidence. This Warranty Policy explains the warranties that may apply to products purchased from Hello Deals and how to make a warranty claim.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.

If a product has a major failure, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure is not major, we may be entitled to provide an appropriate remedy, such as a repair, within a reasonable time.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of any voluntary or manufacturer's warranty offered with a product.

2. Voluntary and Manufacturer's Warranties

Some products sold by Hello Deals may include a voluntary warranty provided by Hello Deals, the manufacturer, supplier or another third party.

The warranty period and conditions may vary depending on the product. Where a specific warranty applies, details may be stated on the relevant product page, product documentation or packaging.

Any voluntary or manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not replace or limit those rights.

3. Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe that a product you purchased from Hello Deals is faulty or has developed a problem, please contact us at hellodealsau@gmail.com.

To help us assess your claim, please provide where reasonably available:

  • your order number or other proof of purchase;
  • a clear description of the problem;
  • photographs showing the product and the issue;
  • a short video where this is reasonably necessary to demonstrate the fault; and
  • any other relevant information reasonably required to assess the claim.

Please do not return a product before contacting us and receiving return instructions.

4. Assessment of Warranty Claims

Once we receive the relevant information, we will assess your claim and may ask for additional information where reasonably necessary.

Depending on the nature of the issue, we may arrange troubleshooting, inspection, repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

The remedy available will depend on the circumstances, the applicable warranty and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Return of Faulty Products

Where a product needs to be returned for assessment, we will provide appropriate return instructions.

Where the product is confirmed to have a fault covered by the Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return or transportation costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

For large, bulky or difficult-to-transport products, please contact us before arranging transportation so that we can discuss an appropriate process.

6. What May Not Be Covered

A voluntary or manufacturer's warranty may not cover problems caused by:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • misuse, abuse or neglect;
  • accidental damage occurring after delivery;
  • improper assembly, installation or maintenance;
  • failure to follow supplied instructions;
  • unauthorised modifications or repairs;
  • use of the product for a purpose for which it was not reasonably intended; or
  • damage caused by external events or circumstances not related to a product defect.

These exclusions do not limit any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Proof of Purchase

We may ask you to provide reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Hello Deals.

Proof of purchase may include an order confirmation, tax invoice, receipt or other reasonable evidence of purchase.

8. Replacement Products and Parts

Where a replacement product or replacement part is provided under a voluntary warranty, the applicable warranty arrangements will depend on the terms of that warranty.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law in relation to a replacement product or part.

9. Change of Mind Returns

Warranty claims are different from change-of-mind returns.

If your product is not faulty and you simply wish to return it because you changed your mind, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for eligibility and conditions.
